Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise residents, businesses and motorists of changed conditions along Sobraon Street, Shepparton due to upcoming kerb and channel works.
The works will occur along the southern and northern sides of Sobraon Street adjacent to the KFC site.
Construction of the southern side will be undertaken first. During this stage, the KFC driveway access from Sobraon Street will be closed from Wednesday 2 September to Monday 14 September 2026, with alternative access available via Maude Street and Wyndham Street.
Construction of the northern side will follow immediately after completion of the southern side. During this stage, the laneway between Liquor Warehouse and Victorian Academy will be closed from Monday 14 September to Thursday 24 September 2026.
Traffic management will be in place throughout the works and access to surrounding businesses will be maintained.
