Solar battery installations are now included in our monthly data publication for small-scale renewable energy installations by postcode.
Solar batteries became eligible under the Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme from 1 July 2025. Solar battery postcode data includes all solar batteries that have been approved for small-scale technology certificates (STCs). It doesn't include data for installed solar batteries with pending STC applications. Earlier this month we published July data on the number of solar batteries installed (including both approved and pending STC applications).
