But the Jurassic excitement doesn't stop there.
On Monday 12 January, the Civic Centre will roar to life with The Dino‑Mite Party Show, a high‑energy family performance that transports audiences back to the age of dinosaurs. The show runs 12:30pm-2:00pm, with a 60‑minute performance and a 15‑minute meet‑and‑greet so little explorers can get up close with their prehistoric pals. Tickets are $15 and bookings are essential.
Shellharbour City Acting Mayor Kellie Marsh said the event is set to bring joy to families across the region.
"Events like this bring our community together and create lasting memories for children and parents alike. We're thrilled to host such an imaginative and interactive show at our Civic Centre."
The show will feature six adorable baby dinosaurs and a quirky cast that promises to keep children and adults entertained from start to finish. A special Kids Zone will offer an up-close and personal experience, making the event interactive and unforgettable.
Families are encouraged to come dressed as their favourite dinosaur, with prizes to be won for the best costumes. The fun will start even before the show begins, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation. Lucky audience members may even be invited on stage to join the prehistoric stars, adding to the thrill of this unique experience.
