Families can enjoy the delights of the wet play area at South Rocky Pool again, now that a much needed part has arrived and been installed.
Sports, Parks, and Public Spaces Councillor Cherie Rutherford thanked the community for their patience.
"We know the South Rocky pool's wet play area is a real favourite for families, and we've had to keep it closed for quite a few weeks which is always a shame.
"The closure was unavoidable: a part of the filter system stopped working, and unfortunately we weren't able to source that specific part locally.
"We located the part as soon as we could, and once it arrived we installed it straight away.
"We really appreciate everyone's patience while we got this fixed. The wet play area is now back up and running and ready to enjoy!"
