South Windsor Chase: Man, Teen Girl Arrested

A man and a teenage girl have been arrested after a pursuit in north western Sydney.

About 11.45am today (Friday 19 September 2025), officers from Raptor Squad attempted to stop a stolen blue Volkswagen Polo travelling east along Old Prospect Road, Cumberland.

When the vehicle allegedly failed to stop a pursuit was initiated where it continued onto the M4 but was terminated for safety reasons.

A short time later the vehicle was sighted by PolAir along Rooty Hill Road, Oakhurst, and followed to a home on Welsted Street, South Windsor, where the 36-year-old male driver and a 17-year-old female passenger– entered the premises.

Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command – with the assistance of the Operations Support Group - established a perimeter around the property.

A 30-year-old female occupant of the home and the man and teenage girl were arrested at 12.45pm when they exited the home.

The vehicle occupants were taken to Windsor Police Station where the man was later conveyed to hospital for a pre-existing medical condition and remains under police guard.

The 30-year-old woman was released at the scene pending further inquiries.

A crime scene has been established at the home.

It will be alleged that the vehicle was stolen from a home on Callen Avenue, Sam Remo, during a home invasion about 6am last Tuesday (16 September 2025) where three women aged 27, 29 and 51 were threatened with a firearm.
