Southern suburbs man charged with child sex offences, SA

Detectives from the Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET), a partnership between the South Australia Police Special Crimes Branch and the Australian Federal Police, today have arrested a southern suburbs youth with possession of aggravated child exploitation material, according to SA Police.

The 17-year-old was arrested by federal agents working within the JACET and he has been charged with federal offences of aggravated production of child exploitation material, disseminating child exploitation material, possession of child exploitation material and breach of bail.

It will be alleged that the children depicted are under the age of 14 years.

The man was refused bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court at a later date.
