Sports Pavilion And Billilla Mansion Election Pledge

Our advocacy on behalf of the Bayside community is focused on important projects and priorities in the lead up to the 2025 federal election.

The funding pledge of $900,000 for the Dendy Park Athletic Pavilion and $3 million for restoration works at Billilla Mansion was made by Tim Wilson, candidate for Goldstein.

Bayside Mayor Cr Hanna El Mouallem welcomed the announcement. "A contribution from a future Coalition Australian Government would help us provide improved facilities for our active community and restore our historical buildings as an arts and cultural hub for Bayside," said Cr El Mouallem.

"The federal contribution would allow us to divert some of the funds earmarked for these major projects into other important programs and services. This will help to remove the pressure off ratepayers in a cost-of-living crisis.

"We are calling for commitments on Bayside's advocacy priorities from all candidates in the lead up to the 3 May election."

We will be sharing details of funding pledges from all candidates on Bayside's advocacy priorities in the lead up to the election.
