Police are investigating a stabbing at Klemzig last night.
Just after 9.40pm on Tuesday 23 December, police and ambulance crews were called to a licensed premises on North East Road, Klemzig after reports that a man had been stabbed in the neck.
The victim, a 21-year-old Seacombe Gardens man, had been approached by a group of men at a business on North East Road when the assault occurred. He then ran to the nearby hotel for assistance.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance in a critical condition but is now stable.
Police searched the area for the two suspects, who had left in a car, but they have not yet been located.
Eastern District CIB detectives, crime scene investigators and Forensic Response officers attended and examined both scenes.
