A new batch of apprentices and trainees have been inducted and are beginning their exciting careers with MidCoast Council.
Each year Council provides youngsters with the opportunity of a lifetime to kickstart their careers with opportunities available in a number of different fields.
But it isn't just the areas youth benefiting from the program, as an equal opportunity employer Council is committed to attracting and retaining quality staff by encouraging people of all ages, genders, backgrounds and levels of experience to apply.
The roles on offer are equally relevant to people finishing school or deciding on a career choice, to those of a more mature age looking for a career change.
Council's General Manager, Adrian Panuccio said the apprentices, trainees and graduates program is part of Council's investment in local people and the region.
"A career in local government is a rewarding way of working for your local community and we are proud to be able to offer these opportunities in our region."
