A 31-year-old Mareeba woman has been arrested and charged with drug trafficking and other drug-related offences after officers from the State Flying Squad and Far Northern District executed a search warrant on a Walsh Street property on August 1.
Police located and seized a large quantity of cash, methylamphetamine, clip seal bags, a variety of prescription medications, and a number of phones and electronic devices.
The 31-year-old woman was charged with three counts of supply dangerous drugs, and one count each of possess dangerous drugs, possess property suspected of being acquired for a drug offence, possess property suspected of being the proceeds of an offence under the Drugs Misuse Act, possess anything used in the commission of a crime and offence to buy or possess S4 or S8 medicines.
The woman was also charged in relation to a 2024 offence of trafficking in dangerous drugs (methylamphetamine).
She appeared in Mareeba Magistrates Court on August 4.
