Statement from the UAE Embassy in Canberra–Australia 22 July 2019
The Australian 60 Minutes episode that aired 21 July 2019 relies on allegations from an individual who is not and has never been a member of Dubai's royal family, and whose testimony is presented by a convicted felon.
The claims made are absurdly false and unsubstantiated, and it is disappointing that 60 Minutes chose to take him at his word, especially given the nancial incentives available to individuals who attack Dubai and the UAE.
