NT WorkSafe has commenced an investigation after receiving notification that a 37-year-old male worker has died after falling from the tracks of an excavator.
The incident occurred at approximately 7.30 AM at a construction site in the Katherine region.
The root cause of this tragic incident is currently unknown, and NT WorkSafe are onsite at the incident scene.
