Wollongong City Council is appealing for residents to take care during today's challenging weather forecast.
"Please stay safe today,'' Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbery AM said.
"This is a really difficult weather forecast we're facing today. The grounds are already sodden, we've had significant heavy rainfall and coastal erosion on a number of our beaches.
