Police are investigating the theft of a quantity of fruit and citrus trees from 'The Big Pot' Nursery located in Melrose and from 'The Riverview' Nursery located in Don. The thefts have occurred within the past month and are believed to be by the same person.
On Monday 12 August 2019 and Sunday 18 August 2019, an offender gained access to 'The Riverview' Nursery at Don while the business was closed and stole a large quantity of citrus trees.
On Friday 23 August 2019 overnight, an unknown person entered 'The Big Pot' Nursery located in Melrose, stealing a quantity of fruit trees and other plants.
Police are seeking the public's assistance to pass on any information they may have regarding the thefts.
