There's now extra time to recognise the people and organisations who make Knox a stronger, safer and more connected community.
The nomination period for the 2026 Knox Community Awards has been extended and will now close on Sunday 29 March. The extension gives residents and community groups an additional two weeks to put forward the volunteers, leaders and organisations whose contributions often go unseen.
Nominations can be submitted in the following categories:
Knox Volunteer of the Year
Knox Community Organisation of the Year
Recognition of Years of Service
These awards acknowledge and celebrate the individuals and groups whose actions make a positive and meaningful difference across Knox.
The extended deadline will help ensure a broader range of stories and achievements are captured.
Winners will be announced during National Volunteer Week at a ceremony on Wednesday 20 May.
It's not too late to acknowledge someone's outstanding contribution.
