Stolen Car Charges, Everton Park

Ferny Grove police have charged three teenagers following investigations into a car being stolen from Everton Park on June 20.

At 11pm it is alleged a trio stole a silver Mazda CX-5 from a Brook Street address.

The following morning at 9am, a Ferny Grove officer located the alleged stolen vehicle with the teenagers sleeping inside on Callan Street, Keperra.

Supporting officers from Ferny Grove general duties, Tactical Crime Squad and Brisbane Dog Squad attended the scene and took the three teenagers into custody.

A 12-year-old Keperra girl, 14-year-old Mitchelton boy and 17-year-old Keperra boy have been charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, unlawful use of a motor vehicle – in company, and receiving tainted property.

The 14-year-old Mitchelton boy and 17-year-old Keperra boy are expected to appear before Brisbane Children's Court today, June 23.

The 12-year-old Keperra girl is expected to appear before Brisbane Children's Court on June 27.
