Stolen Car Delays Townsville Anzac Day Parade

Detectives have not charged anyone in relation to the alleged driving of a stolen Ram utility on Friday morning, April 25, including the disruption of the Anzac Day Parade. Investigations are ongoing.

Police will allege the Ram was stolen from Granville Street, Pimlico, around 6am on April 25.

The vehicle had reportedly been involved in a number of alleged hit and run incidents on Friday morning in Thuringowa.

The stolen Ram utility was located by police at 11.15am at Paddington Terrace, Douglas.

A 15-year-old Kelso boy has been charged with two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and one count of armed robbery. He is due to appear in the Townsville Childrens Court today.

The investigation is ongoing.
