Stolen car dumped at Littlehampton, South Australia

Police are currently searching the Littlehampton area after a stolen car was dumped in a paddock this morning.

A patrol spotted a stolen white Mitsubishi ute on Oaklands Road, Oaklands Park just after 4.30am on Saturday 10 November and attempted to stop it, however, the vehicle sped off through a red light and the pursuit was terminated for safety reasons.

Another police car followed the vehicle at a distance, as it continued to travel at the speed limit through Upper Sturt, Crafers and onto the South Eastern Freeway.

The stolen car was successfully spiked on Mount Barker Road, Totness and travelled into Littlehampton, where it was spiked again on Bald Hills Road.

The driver abandoned the ute in a paddock off Bald Hills Road and ran off. Police are searching the area with the assistance of Police Dogs Ruger and Zac.
