Stolen Emergency Services Vehicles At Bundaberg

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two Rural Fire Service Queensland (RFSQ) vehicles that were reported stolen from Winfield Rural Fire Brigade this morning, 15 July.

Unknown people entered a shed at a Rocky Point Road, Winfield property and reportedly stole two vehicles, a yellow Nissan Patrol and a white Mazda BT50, as well as a large amount of equipment including radios, computers and tools.

The vehicles do not have number plates attached but do have Rural Fire Service Queensland insignia and firefighting equipment onboard.

The vehicles have since been sighted driving around Bundaberg including the suburbs of Kepnock, Thabeban and Alloway.

Investigations are ongoing to locate the stolen vehicles and equipment.

Police are appealing to the public to report any sightings of the vehicles to police.

Anyone with dashcam footage of the Rocky Point Road at Winfield area between 7am and 8am this morning is also urged to contact police.
