Stolen property located in Jimboomba, QLD

Police have charged a 29-year-old man after stolen property was allegedly located at his Jimboomba home, Queensland Police say.

Following a protracted investigation, Detectives from the Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit, along with uniformed officers from Jimboomba and RSPCA Inspectors executed search warrants at a private residence on Nash Road on Thursday April 19.

It will be alleged that a stolen bobcat, two stolen trailers and an unlicensed rifle were located.

RSPCA investigators also seized a number of animal and prohibited items relating to animal-fighting.

A 29-year-old Jimboomba man has now been charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a motor vehicle, one count of possessing a thing, one count of possessing a utensil, possessing a weapon and one count of possessing explosives.

He was issued with a Notice to Appear and is scheduled to appear at Beenleigh Magistrates Court on May 17, 2018.
