Stolen property located; police appeal for owners at Coffs Harbour

Police are appealing to identify the owners of a large amount of stolen property which has been located during two search warrants at Coffs Harbour.

About 1.45pm on Tuesday (10 August 2021), officers attached to the Coffs Harbour Region Enforcement Squad (RES) and Coffs/Clarence PD detectives executed a search warrant at a storage unit on Craft Close, Toormina, in relation to an ongoing investigation.

During the search, officers seized a large amount of power tools – believed to have been stolen from a Coffs Harbour premises on Saturday 29 May 2021 – along with numerous driver's licenses, MDMA and cannabis.

Following further inquiries, a second search warrant was executed at a unit on West Korora Road, Coffs Harbour, about 6.50pm the same day (Tuesday 10 August 2021), where police seized a crossbow, ammunition, a motorcycle, power tools, and items consistent with the manufacture of prohibited drugs.

No charges have been laid in relation to the items seized, with further inquiries being conducted.

As the investigation continues, police are appealing for information from the community as they wish to return the stolen property to its owners.
