Works to refresh the Hampton's 'Small Stories' are underway. The 'Small Stories' are a series of engraved artworks set into the pavement, sharing site-specific tales of Hampton's character and village feel. Designed to be discovered while walking the street, they invite people to pause and connect with the place.
The first stage of refurbishing works begins on Monday 23 February 2026. Starting with the 2 stories at 368 Hampton Street, this stage is a pilot and if successful, the remaining 10 "Small Stories" will be refurbished.
Also along Hampton Street, the iconic bronze statues have also recently been refurbished and are ready to be rediscovered.
