ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC:
A moist airmass combined with a tropical low in the south of the state is combining to produce severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall which may lead to flash flooding. Thunderstorms are slowly moving to the east and south east and are likely to begin to ease later this morning.
Severe thunderstorms are likely to produce heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Alice Springs, Arltunga and Santa Teresa.
