Storm clean up across City of Burnside

Fallen-Tree-min.jpg

Following this morning's intense weather our field teams are working to assess and triage all required clean up works, including the removal of fallen tree debris from Council streets, parks and reserves. Tomorrow the teams will begin to clean up high priority works which may take several days to complete.
While the wind has died down, we advise caution when walking in our public spaces - tree limbs may have been weakened by the strong winds and there remains a risk tree debris could fall. Please remain vigilant at all times and we thank you for your patience while we begin to undertake works.
Please note that the George Bolton Swimming Centre is currently open for use, however the grassed areas are cordoned off and we request all visitors please stick to the paths when going to and from the water. The Tusmore Wading Pool is currently operating without any changes.
