Storyfest writing competition open for residents aged 8-18

It's time to get writing!

Platform Youth Arts and Central Geelong Marketing have teamed up to offer an exciting writing competition for young people, the perfect activity to enjoy while staying at home.

The second annual Storyfest Writing Competition is open to all Geelong residents aged 8 - 18 who have a story to tell.

This year's theme is SOCAL CONNECTION.

Entrants are invited to respond through any form of creative written expression, including creative writing, poetry, non-fiction and essays.

The competition is split into two age categories:

  • 1. 8 – 12 years
  • 2. 13 – 18 years

There will be three winners in each category (first, second and third place).

Entries open Saturday 28 March and close on Thursday 30 April 2020.
