Straight up - Not in good spirits in Darley

Bacchus Marsh police are investigating after three bottles of vodka were stolen from a bottle shop in Darley on Tuesday, Victoria Police say.

Officers have been told a man walked into a bottle shop on Grey Street and picked up three bottles of vodka about 5.15pm.

He then placed the three bottles down the back of his pants.

The man then attended the front counter of the store with a number of other items and told the attendant he couldn’t use eftpos.

He told the attendant he needed to go to an ATM and left the other items on the counter, however still had the three bottles of vodka hidden down his pants.

The man has then fled in what is described as a silver Honda Accord.

Police have released an image and CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
