Folowing a decade of mismanagement and neglect, Victorians have lost confidence in our health system. They can no longer trust that emergency care wi l be there when they, or their loved ones, need it most.
More than 60,000 Victorians are stuck on elective surgery waitlists while more than one in two patients presenting with mental health concerns remain waiting in an emergency department for more than eight hours.
Too often Victorians in desperate need of emergency care are waiting hours for an ambulance often with tragic consequences.
