Police are investigating a suspicious fire at Woodville Gardens overnight that destroyed a disused service station.
Just before 10.30pm Wednesday 18 December police and fire crews were called to Hanson Road after reports that a service station was on fire.
Police closed Hanson Road while MFS crews got to work battling the blaze, which took almost an hour to contain. Thankfully there were no injuries, but the vacant service station was completely destroyed.
Police Fire Techs attended the scene to assist and believe the fire may have been deliberately lit. A witness reported seeing a man running from the area just prior to the fire.
