Police are investigating after a 47-year-old woman was located deceased on the side of Four AK Road, Oakey just before 8am this morning (August 13).
Early information indicates the woman may have been struck by a vehicle between midnight and 8am a crime scene has been established.
Anyone with information relating to this matter or with dashcam footage from within that area and time-frame is urged to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit and Criminal Investigation Branch investigation is continuing.
