Sudden death investigation, Capalaba

Police are investigating the sudden death of a woman in her 50's at Capalaba yesterday (October 15).

Police were called to an address on Swan Street around 7.30pm to conduct a welfare check and located the woman unresponsive. She was declared deceased at the scene.

A crime scene has been established at the residence, with Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding her death.

A 42-year-old man is assisting police with enquiries.
