Supporting Territory Families: 2019-20 Urban Sport Vouchers Extended

The Urban Sport Voucher Scheme helps families with the cost of organised sport, recreation and cultural activities and due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Territory Labor Government is extending the redemption date for the 2019-20 Sport and Learn to Swim Vouchers to 12 June 2020.

The vouchers are available to every child enrolled in school from preschool to year 12, including home-schooled children.

Families with children enrolled in urban schools are entitled to a $100 sport voucher each semester to help with the cost of their child participating in a chosen sport, active recreation or cultural activity.

For those parents or carers yet to request a 2019-20 voucher, you can still do so up until 31 May 2020, noting that the voucher needs to be redeemed by the new date of 12 June 2020.
