The Surf Coast Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium is moving closer to construction stage, with people able to view images of what it will look like.
Surf Coast Shire Council is undertaking all necessary steps to prepare for construction of the new stadium, to be located in the north of Torquay. It will be formed by adding three courts to the existing single-court stadium at Surf Coast Secondary College and is planned to be completed by the end of 2020.
Council has been working with Surf Coast Secondary College and potential user groups of the stadium throughout the design process. A planning permit application has also been prepared, and will be publicly advertised shortly.
