Surry Hills Sexual Assault Investigation: Images Released

Police have released images as investigations continue into a sexual assault in Sydney's inner suburbs.

About 5pm on Sunday 21 May 2023, officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command were called to an address in Surry Hills, following reports a 51-year-old woman was sexually assaulted.

Police have been told a man drove from the property in a white Toyota Corolla with yellow licence plates.

A crime scene was established, and investigations commenced into the incident.

Following inquiries, investigators have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man has been described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid-30s to 40s, of solid build, with shoulder-length brown hair, and a beard.

He is depicted in the images wearing red Adidas jacket, black t-shirt with the letter 'A' on the front, black shorts and Adidas running shoes.

Anyone with information that may assist investigators is urged to come forward.
