Footscray police have arrested a man after an aggravated burglary early this morning.
Officers responded to reports of an aggravated burglary at an address on Barkly Street at 12.22am.
Within six minutes, Footscray officers were on scene.
With assistance from a K9 unit a man was arrested a short time later nearby the victims address.
Police seized a laptop allegedly stolen from the aggravated burglary.
It is alleged the offender smashed a window to unlock the back door and enter the premises.
Two residents home at the time were not physically injured.
A 32-year-old St Albans man will be interviewed by investigators.
