A 38-year-old woman has been charged with arson after a suspicious fire at Lutwyche on Sunday, 28 September.
Around 7.45am, police and emergency services were called to an apartment block on Lamington Avenue following reports of a fire.
All occupants evacuated safely, and no serious injuries were reported.
Two Queensland Police officers who assisted with evacuating the occupants were taken to hospital as a precaution due to smoke inhalation. They have both since been released from hospital.
A crime scene was declared, and a woman was taken into custody nearby on Norman Avenue.
A 38-year-old Lutwyche woman has been charged with one count of arson and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today, 29 September.
