Major Crime Detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a 29-year-old woman at a Palmerston home overnight.
It is alleged a woman received serious injuries following an aggravated assault at a Gray residence just after 9pm, Northern Territory Police say.
The woman was declared deceased at the scene.
A 34-year-old male is in custody and is assisting police with their enquiries.
