Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman at Upper Mount Gravatt earlier this evening.
Just before 8pm, officers attended a private residence on Wishart Road, following a report of a critically injured woman at the address.
The woman was treated by QAS personnel however she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are ongoing.
A man known to the woman is assisting police with their inquiries.
