Detectives are investigating a suspicious fire at a property this morning at Palen Creek., Queensland Police say
Around 8:35am, emergency crews were called to a residence on the Mount Lindsay Highway following reports of a large fire.
On arrival, the home was engulfed in flames causing major damage to the building.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Service officers extinguished the fire with no one injured as a result of the flames.
A crime scene was established with scenes of crime, and investigators attending.
The fire is being treated as suspicious until it is deemed otherwise.
Detectives are asking for anyone who may have witnessed anyone around Palen Creek on the Mount Lindsay Highway or who may have any dash cam vision around the time of the incident to contact them.
Investigations will continue to determine the cause of the fire.
