Suspicious fire in Minchinbury

Police are appealing for public assistance following a suspicious fire in Sydney’s west overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Sterling Street, Minchinbury, about 1.50am today (Tuesday 2 January 2018). Fire-fighters were able to extinguish the fire a short time later.

The premises, a tyre business, and its surrounding businesses were closed at the time, there have been no reports of injuries.

Crime Scene Investigators and Fire & Rescue NSW have examined the property and the incident has been declared as suspicious.

Police from the Mt Druitt Local Area Command are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
