Suspicious fire investigation at Gympie

Detectives from Gympie Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) are appealing for witnesses as part of the investigation into a suspicious fire at Gympie yesterday morning (November 20).

Emergency services were called to a fire at a factory on Tozer Park Road just after 5am.

The building and a number of vehicles sustained significant damage.

No one was physically injured.

The fire is being treated as suspicious.

Police are appealing to anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage near Tozer Park Road between 5pm Friday November 19 and 5am Saturday November 20 to come forward.

Investigations remain ongoing.
