Police are treating a fire that damaged a Karawatha house this evening as suspicious, Queensland Police say.
Around 6.15pm, the house on Wembley Road became fully engulfed in flames.
Witnesses have described seeing a number of people leaving the residence shortly before the fire started.
The scene will be guarded overnight before further examinations are conducted tomorrow.
Anyone who may have seen a person or vehicle outside the house at the time of the fire is urged to contact police.
