On Sunday 30 October, at around 8.30pm, Police were notified of a structure fire in Joseph Street in Rokeby, Tasmania Police say.
The fire was extinguished and damage was limited to scorched carpets and smoke damage. There was evidence that the fire had been deliberately lit.
About $50,000 worth of damage was caused to the residence, which was unoccupied at the time.
Police would like to hear from members of the public who may have relevant information as to who was responsible for lighting the fire.
