Goulburn Mulwaree Council advises that essential road rehabilitation works will commence on Taralga Road, starting 500m before the NSW Police Driver Training Facility and will continue for 1.2km, towards Taralga.

Works will involve bulk earthworks, vegetation clearing, drainage, pavement rehabilitation, bitumen sealing, line marking and guardrail replacement.

Work is scheduled to take place from late August 2025 and expected to be completed by late October 2025. Work will be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm, weather permitting.

There will be an increase in construction traffic and noise during this time, and Traffic Management will be in place.

Council acknowledges the temporary inconvenience and appreciates the community's patience during these important upgrades.

The funding for these safety works has been made possible through the Australian Government Blackspot Program (over $500,000).
