Task Force Southern arrests

This morning Task Force Southern detectives arrested five people as a result of the ongoing investigation into the suspicious deaths of Robert Atkins, Trevor King and Jeffrey Mundy. They were charged with drug trafficking, firearm and weapons offences.

A 37 year old woman from Christies Beach was charged with seven counts of trafficking in a controlled drug. A 52 year old man from Huntfield Heights was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled drug and trafficking in a firearm. A 46 year old man from Hove was charged with trafficking in a controlled drug, two counts of trafficking a firearm and possession of a prohibited weapon. All will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court this afternoon.

Meanwhile, a 60 year old man from Christies Beach was charged with five counts of trafficking in a controlled drug and 43 year old man from Lonsdale was charged with 14 counts of trafficking in a controlled drug. Both of these men have been bailed appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 27 April.

Investigations into the deaths of Robert, Trevor, and Jeffrey are ongoing. These crimes and the subsequent arrests by Major Crime detectives have occurred as a consequence of that investigation.
