Taskforce Falcon Charges Duo After Vehicle Seizure

Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged a man and teenage boy following a police operation in Sydney's west yesterday.

About 5.50pm (Monday 31 August 2026), police were called to Charlemont Way, Constitution Hill, following reports a suspicious vehicle had been located.

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command attended and located a white SUV parked on the street.

When officers approached the SUV, two occupants ran from the scene.

Following a foot pursuit, officers arrested a 19-year-old man and 16-year-old boy nearby.

With assistance from the Public Order and Riot Squad (PORS), officers conducted a search of the area and allegedly seized items for forensic examination – including the SUV.

The 19-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were taken to Parramatta Police Station.

Both were charged with recklessly deal with proceeds of crime more than $5000, face blackened/disguised with intent commit indictable offence, be carried in conveyance taken without consent of owner, participate criminal group contribute criminal activity and use class A vehicle displaying misleading etc number plate.

The man was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Local Court today (Tuesday 1 September 2026).

The boy was refused bail to appear before a Children's Court today (Tuesday 1 September 2026).
