Tasmania Police Probes Arson at Launceston Tattoo Shop

Police are seeking public information in relation to a deliberately lit fire at a tattoo business in Launceston early this morning.

Around 4.45am, Tasmania Fire Service and Tasmania Police responded to a structure fire at a tattoo business on Charles Street.

A member of the public reported seeing a man wearing dark clothing allegedly running from the scene into Princes Square.

Tasmania Fire Service contained the fire and determined it was deliberately lit.

Anyone with information in relation to the fire or suspicious activity in the area around the time is asked to come forward. Nearby businesses who may have relevant CCTV footage are also asked to come forward.
