Tasmania Unveils New Wage Proposals for Workers

The Tasmanian Government has delivered three-year wage proposals to a number of workforces across the State Service this week.
Fair and affordable packages have been provided for the following agreements:
  • Allied Health Professionals Agreement 2025
  • Port Arthur Historic Site Management Authority Staff Agreement 2025
  • Dental Officers Agreement 2025
  • AWU Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2025
  • Radiation Therapists Agreement 2025
The offers address shared priorities for each workforce, and deliver a pay rise of 3 per cent in year one, 3 per cent in year two and 2.75 per cent in year three.

Most of the workers covered under the agreements will also receive a base pay boost, as well as tailored allowances and conditions.

Premier Jeremy Rockliff said these strong and comprehensive offers have been developed closely with unions.

"A range of targeted allowances and reforms have also been proposed across the Service ensuring fairness, and addressing specific issues for specialised workforces," Premier Rockliff said.

"We want to see our hard-working state service employees get a payrise, and we look forward to the Unions putting these offers to their members."

Government has requested a response by March 30 with offers remaining open until close of business on 31 March 2026, ensuring employees can also receive backpay to the first full salary increase on or after 1 December 2025
