Taste of Summer menu set to delight

Nic Street, Minister for Stadia and Events

The iconic Taste of Summer has set a new benchmark as local Tasmanian producers put forth their show stopping menus.

Minister for Stadia and Events, Nic Street has said that the culinary treats on offer are a tribute to the world class produce Tasmania is known for.

"There are few experiences in Tasmania that rival the Taste of Summer – from the food to the iconic waterfront, the upcoming festival is set to be the biggest yet," Minister Street said.

"I want to encourage everyone to get down and take advantage of the staggering 88 stalls on offer in what is a true feast for the senses.

"There is something for everybody as the very best of everything Tasmanian is on display.

"Tickets are selling well as people from around the State and Australia prepare for the highlight of the Christmas to New Year period, so get in quick!"

The Taste of Summer festival will run from Wednesday, 27 December until Saturday, 6 January, with the event shut to provide a short break for stallholders on 2 and 3 January.
