Members of Team Canada INVICTUS Games 2020 are set to take part in the 10th annual U.S. Marine Corps Trials being held February 28 to March 12, 2020 at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton near San Diego, California.

The Marine Corps Trials is an adaptive sports competition for wounded, ill or injured serving military personnel and veterans. The event will feature more than 250 athletes from seven countries taking part in 11 adaptive sports.

This is the first time that a Canadian team will take part in the competition. Apart from the event's broader goals of promoting recovery through adaptive sports and developing camaraderie among participants, Team Canada will also use the opportunity to help prepare for the Invictus Games The Hague 2020.
