Teen arrested after robbery at Elizabeth Park, SA

Police have arrested a teenager after he allegedly robbed a taxi driver at Elizabeth Park last night, according to SA Police.

Just before 8pm, Friday 19 May, the taxi driver was approached on Sullivan Road by a male who threatened him with a knife or similar and took a bag containing his earnings before running away on foot.

Thankfully the victim was not physically injured, and was able to report the incident to the Elizabeth Police Station. Patrols quickly attended the area and conducted a search locating the teen nearby who matched the description given by the victim.

Police arrested the 14-year-old Elizabeth Park youth, who also had an outstanding warrant, he was charged with aggravated robbery. He was refused bail and will appear in court on Monday.
